Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Lawzuit collects account information, contact information, eService request details, case names and numbers, court and department information, recipient names and electronic service addresses, consent-basis notes, uploaded or attached documents, communications, timestamps, delivery or bounce data where available, and proof-of-service records.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide eService coordination, send service emails, maintain service logs, prepare proof record details, support your account, prevent abuse, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Shared During eService
When you request eService, Lawzuit sends the documents and service information to the recipients you identify. Those recipients may see your name, email address, case information, document titles, attachments, and service message content. Do not provide documents or recipient addresses unless you intend Lawzuit to use them for service.
4. Service Providers
Lawzuit may use providers such as Supabase, Firebase, SendGrid, Twilio, Vercel, and other infrastructure or communications vendors to operate the service. These providers process information on Lawzuit's behalf. If paid products are introduced later, payment processors may process payment details for those paid products.
5. No Sale of Personal Information
Lawzuit does not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud, or as part of a business transfer.
6. Retention
We retain service records, communications, and proof details as needed to provide the service, support disputes, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and maintain operational records.
7. Your Privacy Rights
California residents may request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data practices, subject to legal and operational retention needs. Send requests to privacy@lawzuit.com.
8. Communications Are Not Privileged
Lawzuit is not a law firm. Communications with Lawzuit are not protected by the attorney-client privilege. Lawzuit does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, strategy, document review, or representation. Do not send Lawzuit information unless you want Lawzuit to use it to provide the requested workflow or communication service.
9. Site Disclosure Acknowledgement
Lawzuit may store a local browser acknowledgement showing that a visitor accepted the site-wide non-law-firm disclosure. This preference is used to avoid repeatedly showing the same notice on the same browser. It does not create an attorney-client relationship or make communications privileged.
